A Community Curriculum
One of the main goals of the Digital Literacy Program is the development of a set of easy-to-use teaching materials that digital literacy trainers throughout the state can use, adapt, and add to in an “open source,” collaborative manner. As websites and devices change so will the digital literacy needs of Rhode Islanders. We expect that collaboration among instructors throughout the state will produce and sustain a current, responsive and free set of materials that meet these needs.
Contributing to BBRI Teaching Materials
We invite instructors throughout the state to contribute their own material to the online repository of materials and collaborate with each other on the production and editing of material. The BBRI Internet Basics Instructor’s Manual produced by BBRI is currently available for instructors to download, adapt, and discuss.
